Experts expect a record-setting 1,500 private flights to serve the area around Davos, Switzerland this week as the global elite attend the World Economic Forum conference. But the jets don’t land in the alpine town itself—it has no airport. Most attendees travel by ground from Zurich or other local airports, though the elite of the elite are known for helicoptering the rest of the way.
